ANNUAL GROUP MEETINGS
PCRG hosts annual all-member meetings to convene as a larger group, share updates about ongoing projects, connect with collaborators, and discuss ways to advance future research endeavors.

CRABBER AND SCIENTIST EXCHANGE EVENTS
Piloted in 2021, these events aim to foster a dialogue between scientists and commercial crabbers, build collaborative partnerships, and bridge respective bodies of knowledge by hosting conversational events to share observations and questions.
This program is inspired by and, based off of, the NOAA Oregon Sea Grant Scientists and Fishermen Exchange. Read about the successes and impact of their program here.

DEVELOPED CURRICULUM
Pacific Shellfish Institute (PSI) helps manage a light trap site in South Puget Sound, and they developed an accompanying curriculum that allows students in Grades 6-8 to analyze real larval crab abundance data and learn about how scientists work to collaboratively monitor a critical Puget Sound fishery. This curriculum, entitled "Tiny Crabs, Big Impacts: Long-Term Monitoring for Healthy Dungeness Populations," is available for use on PSI's website.
